I started out as a deputy sheriff for the Teton County Sheriff’s Office in the summer of 1994. After four years there, I moved to Havre where I continued my law enforcement career for another four years for the Havre Police Department and then Hill County Sheriff’s Office. During that time, I got involved with Special Olympics Montana and was the leg leader for the Torch Run for a couple years. When I left Havre and moved back home, I continued as a part time deputy for Teton County which I still do today. I have ridden in the Ride for Hope for a number of years and through that and the Blue Knights organization, I met Dave Evans. He really has a passion for the Montana Hope Project and one day I called him and said if he ever needed help, that I would really like to be involved a little more. Little did I know that I’d get the job as the area coordinator in Great Falls. I am very proud to be working for an organization that cares so much for Montana kids. I can’t begin to know what it is like to be in the shoes of some of these families, but I will do anything that I can to put a smile on their faces and help them create lasting memories.
