Joe Wyant

Butte/Anaconda Area Coordinator

Hello, my name is Joe Wyant and I am the Montana Hope Project's Butte/Anaconda coordinator.  I have been involved with the Hope Project since 1999.  I am so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful organization whose goal is make a difference in the lives of those in need.  I started by helping the late Alice O'Donnell with fund raisers and granting wishes.  Granting the first wish is what got me so involved in the project.  I can recall the joy and gratitude of the families as they watched the excitement in their loved ones whose wish I was helping to come true.  I will never forget the giant smile of the first child whose wish was becoming a reality.  The parents were in tears of happiness as they told me they had not seen their child smile so much in a long time.  I could never understand the things these families go through when a loved one is critically or terminally ill.  However, I do understand the Montana Hope Project helps those families create treasured memories that will last for years to come and that is why I am so involved.
