My name is Andrew Leigland. I have been a Trooper with the Montana Highway Patrol since 2014. I have been attending Montana Hope Project events since I started with the patrol. I’ve been a resident of Missoula for over 20 years. My wife and I have enjoyed raising our 3 boys in beautiful western Montana. I joined the Montana Highway Patrol in 2014, and I’ve had a front row seat to many smiles and much joy shared with Wish Kids and their families through the Montana Hope Project. I’m excited to continue this work as the Missoula Area Coordinator. As avid Griz fans, “The Bears that Care” is a slogan that fits our family well. I have been a been a Montana Highway Patrol trooper since 2022, and a Bozeman resident for the past 10 years. I have always had an interest in the Hope Project since moving to Montana. Upon becoming a trooper, I had the privilege to attend a wish granting ceremony. Seeing the joy brought to this family by the Montana Hope Project guided me in my decision to assist in supporting its mission within my community.
