Montana Hope Project Hosts Summer Reunion
We recently wrapped up our 2023 Summer Reunion at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, and what a
weekend it was! This weekend was in memory of our beloved Billings Area Coordinator, Dave
Evans, and you may notice a familiar smiling face on the updated MHP logo featured on our
customized reunion t-shirts. Thank you, Justus Johnson, for designing those for us and for
capturing Dave’s essence perfectly!
Our dedicated motorcyclists provided rain-filled rides to kids of all ages! Dwayne and Janice
Irvin provided dry, comfortable passage in their brand-new semi-truck, and the Bruner Family
offered horse-drawn carriage rides powered by the most beautiful (and huge) horses we’ve
ever seen! If fast is more your speed, Cory Janes and his Mustang may be just what you need!
Let’s not forget the Montana Highway Patrol Troopers who chauffeured kids around the area,
lights and sirens aplenty! The antique 1935 Ford Coupe MHP Patrol Car was a huge hit among
both kids and adults!
In addition to these outdoor adventures, participants enjoyed crafting indoors, loads of
swimming, and merchandise shopping! Several MHP Troopers and Ian Patey of the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police were in uniform and camera ready to pose with families for pictures,

A heartfelt thank you to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and their staff for taking such good care of
us throughout the weekend and to everyone who continues to donate their time, talents, and
products year after year! We couldn’t do any of this without you!
